Product Benefits of Finishes:

Dark (Black) Nickel is a bright engineered nickel plating process which deposits a uniform corrosion resistant charcoal tone substance.  It is a replacement coating for decorative chrome and provides an attractive alternative finish for automotive parts, appliances, bathroom fixtures, golf clubs, and other decorative applications.  Coating provides excellent uniformity and consistency of color, excellent corrosion resistance; not discolored by foodstuffs, by handling or exposure to atmospheres polluted with sulfur dioxide or hydrogen sulfides; excellent as plated hardness 650-700 Hv; resistance to household chemicals; stable at elevated temperatures (in excess of 500°C).

Electroless Nickel BN is an electroless nickel-phosphorous plating system that incorporates boron nitride as occluded particles in a medium phosphorous electroless nickel matrix.  This unique process is designed to produce a consistent amount of uniformly dispersed boron nitride throughout the EN deposit.

Electroless Nickel deposit benefits include high plated hardness, compressive stress up to 6 metal turnovers, high melting range and excellent corrosion resistance in alkaline environments.
